What is Equipoise (EQ)?

Boldenone Undecylenate was introduced for medical use in the 1960’s, but discontinued for use in humans in the 1970’s. Today, it is more commonly used in Veterinary medicine, mainly in horses to increase weight, coat, and general physical condition. It is not approved by the FDA for use in humans, however, it is still rated amongst the top-rated steroids of all time by bodybuilders due to the clean gains experienced by users. Some of the benefits of Equipoise include: the vast production of Red Blood Cells, low estrogenic effect, improved muscular endurance and recovery, quality lean mass gains, and increased appetite and strength.

Boldenone Undecylenate is a structurally altered form of testosterone that has additional double bonds between the carbons at position one and two. This altered structure greatly reduces the hormones androgenicity and estrogenic nature, making it carry an anabolic and androgenic rating of 50/100, respectively. This means that it is a long acting steroid that aromatizes at approximately 50% of the rate of testosterone, with minimal estrogenic side effects. Although the mass gains may not be quite as dramatic as when using testosterone, users can expect to put on clean mass over a longer bulking cycle with reduced estrogenic side effects. This makes it a popular choice among both male and female bodybuilders. Female users must me mindful of the long half-life (14-15 days) and slow release of this hormone as this can present difficulty in controlling blood plasma levels. After a cycle has been completed, it must be understood that the long half-life translates into slow reduction of blood plasma levels and slow elimination of the hormone from the body; Therefore, Equipoise should be promptly discontinued by women who experience any virilization symptoms.

What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended dosage of Equipoise varies widely depending on who you talk to. In our opinion, a sensible dosage for most athletes is between 300-800 mg per week for males, and 50-75mg/week for females. It is common to take in one injection/week, however, can be split into two doses per week with the same results.

A typical cycle will last 8-12 weeks, with a maximum of 20 weeks at higher dosages. The maximum cycle for women not exceed 12 weeks.

What does Equipoise stack well with?

For males, it is recommended that Equipoise be added with a longer-acting testosterone ester such as Test Enth, Cyp, or Sustanon at a ratio of roughly 60% testosterone, 40% equipoise.

For maximum size, and strength gains, try adding supplementing EQ with an oral anabolic steroid such as Dianabol, Anadrol, Turinabol, or Anavar.

For extreme conditioning and cutting results, try supplementing EQ with Masteron Enanthate and/or Trenbolone Enanthate. An addition of either Winstrol or Anavar will greatly enhance your cutting results as well.
