Trenbolone is an extremely powerful anabolic steroid that was originally developed in the 1960s to increase the appetite and muscle mass of cattle while reducing their body fat. Trenbolone Acetate is classified as a veterinarian-grade anabolic androgenic steroid and is still commonly used in veterinary medicine today. The trains of the trenbolone hormone are the same with all of the trenbolone compounds; the main difference between them is in the ester attached to the hormone which controls the speed at which the hormone is released. Tren Ace contains a short acetate ester attached to the steroid hormone, leaving it with a half-life of approximately 2 days. The trenbolone hormone is a slightly altered Nandrolone-based compound with an added double bond at carbons 9 and 11. These chemical modifications allow for stronger resistance to metabolism in the body, allowing maximum anabolic performance in muscle tissue. It also greatly increases the binding affinity to the androgen receptor, inhibiting it from aromatizing. It carries an anabolic/androgenic rating of 500/500 and is not recommended for use in women.
